BIC gives Workshop in the City of Taunton

On Saturday June 30, 2102, the Brazilian Immigrant Center conducted a workshop at the Revival Church for the Nation in Taunton, MA.
We were welcomed by Pastor Almir Silva and the members of the community.
The workshop discussed immigration issues such as Secure Communities, Obama's Deferred Action for DREAMers, Workers' Rights, including the Domestic Worker's Movement for changes in current state law. Members of BIC who lead the workshop: Natalicia Tracy, Lenita Carmo, Schuyler Pisha, and Lydia Edwards. Thank you Pastor Elmir for having BIC in your community.
